Blogging Takes Off at RootSpace
Yesterday, the Social Media Exchange launched its series of intensive workshops at the RootSpace with Beginning Blogging taught by Moustafa Ghaddar. The day started with setting a plan for your blog and quickly moved to adding your first post. Introductions to using Google Analytics and blog directories like Technorati to “claim your blog” rounded out the day.
Today the strategic media courses continue with Search Engine Optimization and Digital Fundraising Techniques. Next week, we’re offering Online Collaboration Techniques on Wednesday and Facebook Activism on Thursday. To register, call Mohamad Najem, 03792505 or 03251099.
We’ve now finalized the calendar (above) for the Beirut sessions and are working on holding several more workshops outside Beirut in Jbeil, Zahle, West Bekaa, Baalbek, and Sour. We’ll post dates and times as soon as they are confirmed.
We’re hosting a two-day intensive in Bint Jbeil on Monday and Tuesday. If you or someone you know would like to attend, please contact our project coordinator, Mohamad Najem, at 03792505 or 03251099.
We hope to see you soon!
