To protest the arrest and sentencing of Moroccan blogger Mohammed Erraji, bloggers worldwide are putting their blogs on strike for 24 hours on Monday, September 15, the night before Erraji’s appeal is heard.

We will join the strike to show solidarity for bloggers and journalists and every person’s right to free speech and self-expression as well as to demonstrate the potential of social media. Non-bloggers can also show their solidarity by sending a photo message to PhotoErraji@gmail.com, joining the Free Mohammed Erraji Facebook group, or signing a petition at www.helperraji.com.
