Social Media Exchange has a unique understanding of the challenges faced by non-English, and particularly Arabic speakers as they develop new media literacy.

To help address these challenges, SMEX both produces original Arabic materials and translates key resources from English, while recognizing that translation is a temporary solution to the much larger problem of the lack of original Arabic content.
