Translation
As a Lebanese organization, Social Media Exchange has a unique understanding of the challenges faced by non-English, and particularly Arabic, speakers as they develop new media literacy.
To help minimize these challenges, SMEX translates guides and other materials so that language is less of a barrier and activists and innovators can devote their full attention to leveraging new media to support social good. We publish our own guides from time to time but prefer to build on others’ work by translating existing resources into Arabic. You can download our Arabic guides by clicking on the images below.
We also recognize, however, that translation is only a temporary solution to a much larger problem: the lack of original Arabic content, which we also aim to support by making our translations widely available in both print and electronic formats.
If you have suggestions for future translations or need translation of media-related content, please get in touch with translation [at] smex [dot] org.
